Prizm! This set is starting to become a staple product each year for set and rainbow collectors. It features shiny cards, more color variations than a rainbow shave ice in Kauai and great potential for high-grade rookie autograph cards. Add the fact that Topps Chrome Football doesn’t exist this year and this product has the potential to be extremely popular for collecting, trading and selling.

TO BUY OR NOT TO BUY?
This is by far my favorite Prizm base card design yet – the cards have a very clean and modern look. Panini did a fantastic job on the inserts as well; my favorite is the Illumination set. As we have come to expect from Prizm, there is an abundance of parallel colors, some of which are really cool this year. I definitely recommend buying a hobby box or two, especially with this year’s rookie class that seems to keep increasing in talent and value.
The video and card scans are below – we pulled some nice stuff. We didn’t include all the goodies in the scans, so you’ll have to watch the video to see them all.

* Estimated Resale Value is based on a set value for each type of card and can vary greatly between boxes based on the players and variations acquired. The value is determined based on an average box.
** Trade Value is based on the amount of possible desired cards within the box. The more cards that can be used as trade bait with other collectors increases the trade grade.
*** Set Collector Grade is based on the desirability of base cards, inserts and parallel cards.
