2016 Absolute Retail Football Review and Break

How exciting it is to see Panini Absolute in retail form again this year! In 2014, Absolute was a heavy favorite for retail products. The base cards had a unique die-cut and there were some fantastic looking inserts. Hopefully this year will live up to previous years. We grabbed a few blaster boxes, a rack pack and a plain pack to check out. Let’s see how it went.

TO BUY OR NOT TO BUY?

The big question for retail products is always, “Should I buy it?” Based on our breakdown, at the most you’ll pay 31 cents per card. In my opinion, the base cards are simply fantastic, and are worth that amount. The insert cards are really nice as well and you’ll find 1 in every pack.

Hits are really tough to come by, so if you’re simply a hit collector then I don’t recommend buying this product. This is definitely geared towards the set / team collectors, which I personally enjoy. So I recommend you grab a box or 2, enjoy the sweet inserts and base cards and have no expectations on acquiring a hit.
